by the National Organization for Victim Assistance and served as the Direct Practice Co-chair and on the Executive Council for the Luzerne County Domestic Violence Task Force on Trauma [SAMSHA Grant]. During this program Dr. Gray worked closely with other community partners and was directly trained by Dr. Sandra Bloom in her Sanctuary Model and her
[then] SAGE Model [recently changed to SAFE] to create a community collaborative approach to improve trauma services from 2001-2007 when the task force disbanded. Her commitment to the ethical and best practice intervention models associated with Trauma have assisted in further growth through a more recent completion of a trauma specific certification program sponsored by Drexel University in addition to the development of the VSI © Victim, Survivor, Integration Model which remains to be a collaborative
effort with longtime friend and colleague, Andrea Pabon, LCSW.

the
first graduates of this newly developed program. She continues to teach
and specialize in Evidence Based Practice in preparation for students to move forward to the Proposal courses and serves on several doctoral dissertation committees as both committee member and chair with a strength in content editing.
She was a Pro-Rata Assistant Professor of Psychology with
Misericordia University from 2004-2014 and developed a graduate level course in Trauma Specific vs Trauma Informed Treatment Models, Practices and Interventions and supervised undergraduate practicum students in the Psychology Program. using the VSI © Victim, Survivor, Integration Model for the Treatment of Simple and Complex Traumatic Stress Disorders and Co-Morbid Process Addictions.” She remains to be a respected specialist in treating LGBTQI issues as a founding member of PALGBIC, PRIDE of NEPA, and The Rainbow Alliance. Lines, NCL.com for Rfamily Vacations, LLC.
In May, 2015, Dr. Gray was asked by American Psychotherapy Association to take part in the Evaluation Process to rank difficulty of each question through Angoff Analysis of the BEta Exam for Criteria regarding a highly specialized credential at Diplomate level for a Board Certified PTSD Clinician and has met the criteria and holds this credential as well.
The evolution of Cornerstone Counseling & Consulting Specialists, LLC to Safe Pathways Counseling Inc. from a sole practitioner into a highly specialized group practice arose out of a need to serve a deserving and underserved population within NEPA and NorthCentral PA, consisting of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. The road has been challenging and rewarding with significant learning along the way. Historically,
Dr. Gray’s roots as a musician,
songwriter,
guitarist, recording artist and photographer assist her in maintaining balance in her own search to maintain wellness and peace.
